Psychic Witch: Why I Love This Book.

What I love about this book is how structured and practical it is as a book on psychic development. Speaking as a Psychic Witch, I believe it is the best book available on the subject. And I have read or perused quite a few books over the years.

In Psychic Witch, Mat Auryn breaks down the process of learning how to tap into one’s psychic potential in easy, bite-sized chunks of information. He incorporates a scientific understanding of brain wave states, the pineal gland as the Witch/Third/Mind’s Eye, and the function of neuroplasticity with metaphysical wisdom and experience.

Mat also avoids the use of the Chakra system, something a majority of psychic development and witchcraft books rely upon. As someone who is reconsidering the use of Chakras as part of my practice, I appreciate Mat’s approach.

The style of writing in Psychic Witch is easy to read and makes what could be a daunting or frustrating task for some individuals a fun and enjoyable activity. Mat makes clear from the start that his goal in writing this book is to help readers understand that we all have psychic abilities to some extent and how to work those abilities into something useful and powerful.

Psychic Witch: Let Me Break It Down For You

In this book, a few chapters included are:

  • The Power and the Sight — An explanation of psychic ability.
  • Meditation and Relaxation — Having an open-minded attitude is key.

  • Extra-Sensory Perception — An excellent introduction to the “Clairs.”
  • Terrestrial Energy – Working with the Earth Mother.

  • Psychic Spells and Magick Tricks.

And that is a drop in the bucket compared to the tips and exercises included in this book.
