The Choice Revolution: You Just Have Two! (VLOG Part 2 of 2) February 3, 2017

In part 1 of this VlOG we discussed choices, how we make them, why we make them and ended with the story of two women with the same opportunity making different choices that had an impact on their career and faith.

Choice is the heart of life. It is primal and binary. Spirituality is enshrouded in choice. To believe or not to believe…now, that is the question of choice….

“Why did you choose to say yes to the telesummit invitation when you do not have the requirements?” I asked woman number two.

“Because when opportunity knocks, I answer. I don’t really know what I’m doing yet concerning telesummits, but I’ll figure it out. I have faith that I’ll have what is necessary by the time it is needed. It’s time for a change to kick-start my career as a speaker and author.”

It was clear. Two women with similar goals on the same path to success who had reached a certain professional level that worked toward a goal. But, one chose to move forward by saying “Yes,” while the other chose to remain in the same place by choosing to say “No.”

Miss Yes made multiple split-second decisions as she evaluated the opportunity in front of her.

The woman who chose “yes” was a living example of the saying, “Fake it ‘till you make it,” which can be a frightening proposition to someone focused on failure rather than success.

During the video interview author Rico Racosky points out, “Choice is unavoidable in life, for not making a choice is still a choice. Every choice counts.”

So, make a positive one.

Own your choices by putting the preamble of “I choose to…” before each action and intention, such as “I choose to… take action” or “I choose to… have a great attitude” or “I choose to… be motivated.”

RBookJust 2 choicesico Racosky also describes a break-through system he developed called “Flip-In-Thinking for Choice Mapping” to reveal the exact choice-point that releases the personal power that often goes unnoticed in every choice we make.

Rico notes that for centuries the power of the word “choice” has been overlooked because it is continuously presented in writing and speaking as merely an intellectual construct that is invisible to the eyes and mind. In reality, the word “choice” is the crowning jewel of our language because choice “activates” everything in life instantly. Rico’s book titled, Just Two Choices, has created a precise, visible, visual format where readers can literally see and track every choice facing them in a way that reveals the true quality and impact of each.

“Thanks to the brilliant, groundbreaking works initiated in the 1930s by visionary legends like Norman Vincent Peale, Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, and others, we now stand on the shoulders of these giants, able to see beyond that positive-thinking era,” says Racosky.

“We are now into the ‘Choice Revolution’ era, because we see that positive thinking is first and foremost a choice, as is evidenced by the new science of epigenetics which shows that your choices impact your DNA.”

What is the guiding light between Miss Yes, and Miss No? The answer is Faith.

Do you have faith in your choices?

Do you allow faith to guide you during times of doubt, change and confusion? You have two choices. Choose to answer “Yes” and trust in faith to help you work out the details later.
