Yes, Make God Your Business Partner!

Yes, make God your business partner.  And watch your business prosper! I can tell you from personal experience that making God my business partner was the best thing I ever did.  On so many occasions, whenever I was faced with a dilemma that I didn’t know how to handle, I spent many sleepless nights worrying.  And I would imagine every bad outcome if the issue wasn’t resolved properly.

As I look back over the 40 years I have run my business, I smile when I remember all the “Drama Queen” antics I went through, trying to figure out what to do.  Yet every situation was resolved quickly and in perfect order when I turned to God and said, “I KNOW there is a solution to this problem, and I THANK YOU GOD for showing me the way.”

Forget Worrying About the “Bottom Line”

I can’t tell you how many times I heard business owners say, “My only concern is the bottom line.  Profits are the only thing that matters.  Whatever it takes to be profitable is all I care about.  If this means moving my business overseas to get ridiculously cheap labor, so be it.  Sure, my customer service will suffer. But hey, that’s just the way business is handled.”

Sound familiar?  This kind of thinking is what I refer to as “Mass Mind Thinking.”  It’s based on a belief that you must struggle, suffer, and try to survive in a “dog eat dog” world.  Yet it doesn’t need to be this way.

Partner with God and Prosper!

The Universe is incredibly abundant. And the way to access all this abundance is to partner with God.  Imagine if you made God your business partner every step of the way.  After all, God wants your business to grow and prosper, and with His Guidance, it will!

When business slows down, the first thing many business owners do is reduce their monthly costs.  This typically ends up involving laying off employees.  I believe that good businesspeople always keep a tight rein on expenses. And one should look at ways to reduce costs.  However, I do not believe that the first plan of action should be to lay off employees.

I Turned to God When My Business Slowed Down

Many years ago, I decided to stop traveling so much and instead do videos. Our revenue dropped while I was writing and recording the online classes.  I didn’t want to lay off any of my employees.  So, I convinced all of them that God was my Business Partner.  And He would take care of us.

For this reason, every time the phone rang, I wanted them to all yell out “THANK YOU GOD!”  I did get some resistance from certain employees.  But once they got on board, OUR PHONES BEGAN RINGING OFF THE HOOK!  And those skeptical employees were amazed when it happened.  I heard one employee say, “I thought she was crazy for making us do this, but I sure have to admit that the phones have been ringing a lot!”

So, when your business slows down, don’t immediately jump to the conclusion that you must SHRINK YOUR BUSINESS OVERHEAD to compensate for the reduction in revenue.  Just THANK GOD for showing you that there is a way to generate revenue to pay for your CURRENT OVERHEAD!  God is so good!

A Man in Pakistan Asked for My Help

I have a Facebook page called Miracle Queen Revisited where I post daily uplifting stories on ways to manifest miracles in your life.  On one occasion, I received an email from a man in Pakistan who read my daily posts.  He and his wife ran a pharmacy. Unfortunately, their business was very slow.  He asked me for advice on how to improve the business.

He was worried that the business would fail.  And he wouldn’t be able to take care of his wife and son.  They both loved being pharmacists, and he wanted his business to prosper.  Perhaps I could offer him some guidance.

He Could Make God/Allah His Partner!

I explained that the quickest way to improve his business involved two things.  The first thing he and his wife could do was to wake up each morning and spend five minutes GIVING THANKS to Allah (he was Muslim) for their many blessings.   And do the same thing each evening before going to sleep.  I explained that being thankful for what they ALREADY HAD would open them up to receive MORE BLESSINGS.

The second thing he was to do was make God/Allah his business partner.  This meant that each day when they arrived at work, he and his wife would say, “Thank You Allah for the business that is coming to us.  Every day we see more and more customers coming to our pharmacy.  Every day our business is getting better and better!”

I shared with him the number of times I had done this, and how much my business always prospered.

He Told Me His Business was Flourishing!

About two weeks after I responded to this man, he contacted me to tell me that they followed my suggestion, and their pharmacy was so busy that they were scrambling to keep up with the flow of customers that were coming in!

It has been over 3 years since I first heard from this man, and he still emails me on a regular basis, sharing the success of their pharmacy.  Their business has done so well that he and his wife agreed that he could now hire an employee, which would allow his wife to remain at home, taking care of his son and their new baby daughter!

Partner with God and Prosper!

I see so many people who live lives of quiet desperation.  They have no idea how much power God has given each of them to manifest whatever they desire. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord (make God your partner) and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
