Stupid is happening out there. Arizona just passed a law that would legalize the kind of Jim Crow discrimination which was the subject of many a famous protest a few decades ago, "on religious grounds." The intent is to allow businesses to refuse to serve gay people and not be sued for it, but the scope is far more wide-reaching than that. If those laws pass, I suggest that people gather from far and near on the next full moon at the state capital, cast circle, and take off their clothes. Read more

However, fresh takes on otherwise repeated debates can not only increase our critical thinking related to heathenry, but they can keep our minds open to receiving new insights and lessons. My impulse is to tell you that I treat my body like a temple 24/7, but then I’d be lying. I’ve gotten much better at tuning into the needs of my body recently, in part due to the intensive yoga teacher training I completed last summer, but I’m not always as aware of my body as I could be.
