Dubai: A Halal Foodie’s Paradise

I saved the best for last.  Or least the most expensive for last.  The Meat Co. (A South African Restaurant Chain) is part of the Madinat Jumeriah Resort, so the prices are high (very high), but it’s worth it to try at least once. We tried the boerewors (grilled traditional african sausage) which was good. But I came for the steak, so ordered the Wagyu Fillet (intense marbled beef with high fat content = very tasty and very expensive).  The 200g fillet will cost you about $100 USD.  Their steaks are cooked in butter and if you havent had steak before, make sure you order it medium well (NOT WELL DONE).  As I always say, if you order your steak well done, then you don’t know how to order steak! 🙂
