What is distinct about Paganism is that we have no litmus test for belief entry. Personally, I'm not deeply invested in what anyone believes, not my editor Jason Mankey or my fellow writer John Halstead. I am far more interested in what someone knows. I want to know about how you come into your magical experience. How you document it, break it apart and put it back together. Read more

I wonder how many of us are in need of turning back in just a little bit? Not depressed, or sad, we are living full and meaningful lives, but we've lost connection. In times like this the only thing I know how to do is a hard reset and return to basics. Read more

I have come to know the Goddess as the vessel of our most intimate self. Whether in worship, public ritual, or alone in her presence what the Goddess has provided me is a vessel. Sometimes this is a liminal vessel whereby we are standing on the edge of magic, and other times it is simply holy emptiness. The universe has an odd way of inviting me to question deeper. As I sat down to write today, the tea bag in my cup of tea offered this wisdom, " Let your heart speak to other's hearts." And I thought to myself, what might it look like if Valentine's Day got a re-fame. That instead of romantic love, and the pursuit of it, we instead focused our hearts on loving the self. I do not always know why, but I always know there is a need. Read more

Letting go might be the hardest thing to put into practice. There are many things in our daily life, both material and immaterial, that we attach to. For some of us, it is the expectation to live our lives in accordance to another's rule book. For others, we are hostages to our own doubt. For me, it was overcoming the years of feeling not good enough and finally knowing worthiness. This attachment to "not good enough" is something that I continue to work through and with. That is the practice, why it is called "doing the work." Read more

The new year is upon us. This is the time of resolutions and promises to self often forgotten by February. But what if the commitment to self was more empowered, and leaned into the invitation of the wholeness that is holy, rather than being an obligation? For me, holiness and the sacred is found in Daily Practice. Read more

This is our moment as a community to invest in an exchange. Lou and his trip to Nigeria is destiny manifested. This is one culture exchange I think will heal past wounds of slavery and oppression, bridge gaps where deeper understanding is needed around the discovery of religious experiences that are new to us, and hopefully invite the dialogue that fosters love. Read more

The moon is a great place to turn for magic. I find the Dark Moon, as the great transformer, to be the best motivator of intention as we transform and transmute our lives in our walk. Here is my Dark Moon ritual; what is yours? Read more
