As a founder of Muslim Heroes (www.muslimheroes.wordpress.com), a blog dedicated to highlighting and celebrating the accomplishments of Muslims from all over the world, I understand the importance of celebrating good work. It is important to create role models for our younger sisters. These types of celebrations or acknowledgements can be in the form of award ceremonies or even fun events where youth get to hang out with or interact with successful female leaders in their respective fields of expertise.
