4. It’s Ok to Say “I Don’t Know”

Often a new Muslim may ask us about something we have no knowledge about. It’s ok to say “I don’t know.” In fact, it’s better to be safe and say “I don’t know” than misguide a person based on one wrong thing you may say about an Islamic matter. If you don’t know the answer to a question, find a scholar or someone who does know who can answer the question or give you the resources you need for the new Muslim.
