-24 degrees cold! For my friends living in the world of Celcius, that’s -31 degrees.

I think at times like this we all get a little religious. I don’t recall ever hearing so much ‘Oh My God!’ or ‘Sweet Jesus…’. I suppose it’s only natural to invoke a higher power when nature, normally so benign, comes down on you with a fist.

Oh well. I grew up in worse. When I was a kid…. I won’t go there. But one interesting fact of the day was that while driving home, shivering in my car, I was forced to stop and wait while 25-40 people on BIKES rode by following a float! Sweet Jesus, indeed.
