I’ve finally caught my breath and got some rest from my
- Whirlwind of travels (30 hours in planes/airports Thursday/Friday),
- Reuniting with Ana (12:30pm London Time Friday), and
- Presenting a paper at Bristol University (Saturday, 11am).
Now it is time to catch up with old friends: Eduardo (Spain) yesterday already, Lucia and Federica along with Anna and Fabio (Italy) tonight, Saijay (Singapore) tonight, Ken from the Uni (yesterday and today), other friends from Hodgkin tonight through Thursday, everyone currently in Buddhist Studies tomorrow for brunch and the great Damien Keown himself on Friday!
So… the whirlwind continues, only on a social rather than academic level. Anyhow, everything is going great. The break feels good, prospects for Ph.D. work look good (here in Bristol if not London), being with Ana is unbelievably wonderful. All in all, coming to the UK and Bristol in particular feel very much like ‘coming home’. I hope everyone else out there is doing very well and that I can return to Montana much happier and less stressed out!
