Come live vicariously through photos from across northern India (Dharamsala, Varanasi, Bodh Gaya, and Calcutta) and Burma.
I spent last fall teaching Buddhist Philosophy in Bodh Gaya, India, and had the great fortune to travel around the country a bit. In January I made my way to Burma (Myanmar), a country still incredibly rich in its Buddhist traditions and trying to find its footing in the modern world.
Along the way I took around 10,000 photos. Over the next few days I’ll pick out the best of them and try to weave together a story or two about the traditions, landscapes, and amazing people I encountered along the way.
