Why I don’t blog… much

Just a quick, weak excuse for my overall lack of effort here. First, I’m currently working on a Masters in Buddhist Studies – which sucks up a LOT of time. Second, much of my free time is dedicated to studying the work of Geshe Michael Roach (www.world-view.org) – There is audio and text of an 18 part ‘mini-Geshe’ training course he ran in the 1990s. A Geshe, for those who do not know, is a Tibetan Buddhist Doctor of Divinity – the outcome of 15-25 years’ study at a monastary.

Along with that, I’m working on my continually evolving website: www.mtfreethinkers.org — at which I’ve just posted a rambling essay:Buddhism vs. Marxism in the West: Foes or Allies..? A long, but hopefully thought-provoking account of the potential goods and evils of both Buddhism and Marxism in the current day.

So – with all of that, you must see that I keep busy! So please forgive my lack of postings here, and do check out my other projects/websites if you are so inclined.
