Part 1 of this episode introduces us to the divisions and challenges facing the Constitutional Convention as it started.

Part 2 looks at the compromises that actually led to a Constitution coming out of the Constitutional Convention.

These compromises tell us a lot about the Constitution itself. These same compromises are behind many of the strengths and weakness of our system.
