5. Not a fan of board games? Try a puzzle.
A great alternative, or even an addition, to board games is a big puzzle that will take all afternoon. It can be a traditional puzzle or 3-D puzzle. Be sure to get a puzzle that will be enjoyable for a variety of ages and abilities. Have the puzzle be a picture of something that is compelling to the whole family–like a favorite place, animal, or team. The beautiful thing about a puzzle is it is something that takes lots of time, so you and your family can work on it little by little throughout the day. And, all of you will be excited and feel accomplished when it is finally all put together.
Whatever you and your family decide to do this year, be willing to try new things. You never know what might become a new favorite tradition.
Happy Thanksgiving, Friends! God bless you and your families.
