3. What if “X, Y, and Z” happens to the kids?

Any time we hear tragic stories of terrible things happening to kids, fear invades our hearts and minds.  We wonder, “What if _______ happened to my kids?”.  It’s paralyzing, and sometimes, it even keeps us up at night.  This fear stems from the tremendous love we have for our kids and the knowledge that we don’t control their future.  Stuff happens–really awful stuff.  But, truth is, really awesome stuff happens too.  And, as moms, we strive to keep our focus on the good.
