5. “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Romans 12:17-18

Raising kids can be hard, and there are times when we lose our temper at our kids.  But, it’s important for us to remember that this only makes things worse.  So, when we fail at this–and sadly, I have many times–we must apologize for our behavior and do whatever we can to bring more peace into our home.  And, this is a great opportunity to teach our kids about grace and how we all have the power to be peacemakers.
