On the other side, you have what some refer to as “helicopter parents” who desire to know where their children are at all times and like to be fully in charge of their child’s busy schedules. These parents seem to side with the neighbor and believed that parents should wait until kids are much older to do tasks out in public on their own. They are usually the “room parents” at school and the ones you can count on to be at every school event. They believe that their consistent presence and involvement in their child’s life and education will produce more successful adults.
