Video: Okanagan Library Summer Reading Challenge Update July 29 #ORL 2016-08-18T09:00:44-08:00

Update on my Vernon Library Summer Reading Challenge and my Worlds Without End reading challenges! Plus a short review of “We” by Yevgeny Zamyatin and my observations regarding 1920s science fiction, what it tells us about the early 20th century, and what we can learn from it today.

I need to read a non-fiction book as part of the challenge! I do read a fair bit of non-fiction that’s historical, scientific or metaphysical/Pagan. I’ve narrowed it down to three options. Vote in the comments or the poll card embedded in the video:
1. The Secret History of the Mongol Queens by Jack Weatherford (historical)
2. A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking (scientific)
3. Full Contact Magick by Kerr Cuhulain (metaphysical/Pagan)
