Silence….. in ALL the Churches?

SILENCE

Silence
Is
The absence of
Sound

Or
Is it
The presence of
Quiet?

Why
Would it
Be golden
If it is
Nothing?

Silence
Can only
Be heard
By stillness.

The still
Small voice says
Be still
And know…

Silence
Has a
Sound
For hearing ears.

Silent prayer
Is
Required
To hear Him

The heart of worship–
The lord is in His house
Let all the earth
Keep silent.

Silence
Must be kept
Like
A precious secret.

Silence
Must be observed
If only
For a moment.

Silence
Falls
On a rapt
Congregation.

Silence
Is
An argument
From absence.

Silence
Is a
Pregnant
Pause….

So…..

‘Let all mortal flesh keep silence,
And with fear and trembling stand;
Ponder nothing earthly minded,
For with blessing in His hand,
Peace descends
Our full homage to demand’
