I do declare, I’ve used all of these phrases except maybe one. If you need to upgrade your Southern Lexicon, this little exercise will help you. If you try to speak Southern without such help (and there are thousands of you who have moved to the South in the last 20 years), well…. that dog won’t hunt. Your phoniness will be quite apparent.
