Thomas Jefferson was a remarkable man in many respects, including in his collection of books, some of which at least are now housed in the Library of Congress. The important thing to me is some of his original works, such as his draft of the Declaration of Independence, but also his edited edition of the life and teachings of Jesus, in which he left out the miraculous in numerous places. He was a Deist, like several other Founding Fathers, not a Trinitarian Christian with a robust belief in miracles. But I digress. Here are some pictures of some of his books.
