The B+B Festival– Part Two

The B+B Festival– Part Two October 6, 2023

For my money the best, and most surprising of the older headliner acts was Blondie, who I had never seen live.  She’s 76 and still rocking hard…. amazing!

Their video graphics were good, this one was when they were playing heart of glass.

But also excellent were headliners like Train, as Pat Moynahan has still got a great voice, and besides their big hits like Soul Sister and Drops of Jupiter, they did some excellent covers of Steve Miller’s Space Cowboy, and the Eagles Hotel California.  Since they have done a whole cover album of Led Zepplin 2, which is excellent, I hoped for some of that but no luck.

Even better was the Duran Duran show, though the last half of it trotted out some rather forgettable newer songs.  But the first 20 minutes were great as was their light show… below the Hungry Like a Wolf graphics…

They did play my favorite numbers Undone, Ordinary World, View to a Kill, Save a Prayer, Hungry like a Wolf, Rio, and more.  Everyone was dancing with those uptempo numbers.
