My answer is yes, if the acting is good, and the story is interesting and clever. Without question, during the late life of Stan Lee, Marvel heroes got the best of DC characters in the movies, with rate exception. But more recently, DC has made something of a comeback on the silver screen, and this is especially the case with this new film, which is by turns a romance, an action film, a good vs. evil morality play, and more. The special effects are well done,but the heart of the story is the relationship between Clark and Lois. And Lex Luther is extremely well played and is a formidable villain. The only part of the movie that seemed hokie, or contrived is the way the two human parents of Clark are played– as if they are real ignorant hicks, but sincere. Otherwise, this just over 2 hour film is well worth the time and effort to go see it, and makes for the perfect summer fun flick. And for dog lovers— Krypto is a scene stealer again and again.
