Song: He Wasn’t Just Another Crucified Man

Song: He Wasn’t Just Another Crucified Man April 3, 2015

Many years ago as I sat and contemplated the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, it occurred to me that He wasn’t just another crucified man.  He was Holy.  He was a miracle worker.  He was a tough and tender carpenter.  He touched women, children and men and He called men to follow Him.  He wasn’t an ordinary crucified man who had committed a real crime worthy of death.  His crime was being the King of the Jews.   That’s what this song is about, which I wrote at least twenty years ago.  Listen and remember Jesus, the only crucified man who was the Son of God, the Lord and Savior of the world.

Here are the lyrics.  Written and sung by Stacy Lynn Harp.

A meek and mild miracle maker

A tough and tender carpenter

He touched women

He loved children

And he called man to follow Him

He touched women

He loved children

And He called man to follow Him

He wasn’t just another crucified man, on a bloody tree

He was the Son of God, who gave His life for me

This is LOVE beyond belief

This is LOVE beyond belief

The SAVIOR of the World

Crucified for me

This is LOVE beyond belief

He wasn’t just another crucified man, on a bloody tree

He was the, Son of God, who gave His life

He wasn’t just another crucified man on bloody tree

He was the Son of God, who gave His life for me

HOLY is the LORD

HOLY is the LORD

JESUS is the LORD

JESUS is the LORD

He wasn’t just another crucified man, on a bloody tree

He was the, Son of God, who gave His life

He wasn’t just another crucified man on bloody tree

He was the Son of God, who gave His life for me
