In small ways, I believe that everyone who has embraced Jesus in their life has experienced this in some way. Jesus tends to disrupt our carefully laid plans, but he replaces them with something much bigger and better. The Jesus way is not easy, but it is very good. It calls us to lay down all that we are in order to receive all that he is.
Mary gives us a great example of what it looks like to say yes to the gracious offer of God, to take our lives and unite them to His life.
