Theologues Roundtable: Evangelicals and the Liturgy

Theologues Roundtable: Evangelicals and the Liturgy 2014-05-12T12:51:30-04:00

This weekend I had the great pleasure of sitting down with author, pastor, and musician Glenn Packiam. He is working on bringing the liturgy into the life of one of the nations largest mega-churches New Life Church in Colorado Springs. He is also working on getting ordained in the Anglican church. I found this to be a fascinating move. More an more it seems evangelicals are embracing liturgical worship, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Take a listen. If you want more, make sure to subscribe to The Roundtable on iTunes.

In this episode, we talk with Glenn Packiam, senior pastor of New Life Church’s downtown campus in Colorado Springs about his recent ordination into the Anglican church. The folksy and knowledgable ACNA Bishop Ken Myers of Sherman, Texas and Graceworks.net also joins us to talk about how evangelicals can incorporate the treasury of church tradition through the liturgy, sacraments and other means.

We’re sure you’ll also enjoy Brandon’s great pizza/life hacks. Thanks for listening!
