If you follow this blog you may recall that I appreciate Neylan McBaine’s thoughtful and measured writings on women, the Church, and the priesthood. If you need a refresher then review an earlier post entitled “Women at Church.”
Today I recommend to you her recent essay which appeared on “By Common Consent” entitled “The Women’s Essay.” I hope you will read it and consider her response to the essay recently released by the Mormon Church. Women’s voices on women’s issues in the Church are of critical importance. Once again, three cheers for Neylan. May many more female voices join hers in days and years to come.
