A nun, an astrophysicist and a Post-Christian walk into a radio show… November 22, 2014

Nun DJI always enjoy chatting with radio talk show host Welton Gaddy, based out of Washington DC. His syndicated weekly show, in partnership with the Interfaith Alliance, airs on nine stations around the country. But they also rebroadcast the segments on their website.

Or you can listen to the entire program BY CLICKING HERE. Also on this program, he talks with Sister Jeannine Grammick, a Catholic nun and part of New Ways Ministry. She speaks about challenging the recent Synod on Family, in which the Pope and various other religious leaders reasserted the “Complementarian” benefits of “traditional family.” Grammick and her fellow advocates are pressing the Church from within to acknowledge various nontraditional family models – including LGBTQ partnerships – as equally valid in the eyes of society and blessed by God.

Gaddy also talks with Dr. Jennifer Wiseman, an astrophysicist and director of the American Association for the Advancement of Science on where she has continued to find common ground between faith and science.
