The always thoughtful Ross Douthat reflects on the similarities, and differences, between the world my 6 year old is living in, and the world that I was living in when I was 6 years old. I’m always skeptical about attempts to take the modern and slap it on a period in history. Every period of history is its own unique phase passing through time.
