My Top 10 Sex Books

My Top 10 Sex Books August 19, 2016

1. Come as You Are: The Surprising New Science that Will Transform Your Sex Life by Emily Nagoski, Ph.D.

If you only read one sex book this year, read this book. It’s awesome because it’s all based on peer-reviewed science, and Nagoski writes with an awareness of feminism without being preachy. While it’s written with an eye toward helping explain how women’s sexuality works, the principles contained here – such as why there’s no such thing as a “sex drive” – apply to everyone. You’ll get a bunch of vocabulary and concepts to understand how your sexuality works (which could also be applied to understanding how your partner works).
