We’ve been having a good garden year, and I’ve enjoyed sharing it with my girls. A few days ago I found a grasshopper clinging to my doorway, completely ignoring gravity. I was really excited to make this dress for Ailee. She picked the fabric, and I jazzed it up with the ruffle and the embroidery. I used vintage buttons that I love, and I think she looks adorable in it. Ailee lost her two front teeth the other day, and I whipped up this tooth bag so that she wouldn’t loose her teeth under her pillow. I’d like to share my recipe for making 2 loaves of honey whole wheat bread. The recipe is easily doubled to four loaves, if you don’t mind kneading a lot of dough. I have a minor obsession with power lines. The way the curving lines cross the sky has often made me feel like we are trying to tie ourselves down.
