I realize, of course, that there’s been debate about Einstein’s religious views.  I’m inclined to think that, although he definitely wasn’t a standard or orthodox theist, he was, still, in a real sense, religious.  Certainly, on at least one occasion, he strenuously denied the claim that he was an atheist.
