Peter Beinart, writing for Haaretz (Israel’s oldest newspaper), laments what he sees as the failure of America Jews to take a firm stance against Mr. Donald J. Trump, comparing them unfavorably in this regard to . . . the Mormons:

Frank Schaeffer, the apostate son of the very influential Evangelical writer and thinker Francis Schaeffer (d. 1984), thinks that many Evangelicals have disgraced themselves during this election campaign, while the Mormons are looking really good by contrast:
