Yearning for a little class and decency in candidates for the White House?

Have a look at the handwritten note that George H. W. Bush left for his successor, Bill Clinton, the man who had defeated him in his bid for re-election:

Whatever you think of the political merits of Bush and/or Clinton, this was, to say the least of it, very classy.
