Rhymes with “Witch”

As some of you may have noticed, I wasn’t a particularly enthusiastic supporter of Mr. Donald J. Trump for the presidency.

When people ask me about my feelings regarding the 2016 election, I respond that I’m happy that Hillary Clinton lost but sad that Donald Trump won.  I hope that he turns out to be a better president than anything in his past has led me to expect.

It’s possible.  Sometimes, people rise to their responsibilities.  (See the 1964 Peter O’Toole/Richard Burton film Becket for an example.)

But there’s no question, in my judgment, that The Woman Who Would Be Queen would have been a horrible president.  Here’s an article that I missed when it appeared back on 1 October.  It might help other Never-Trumpers besides me to feel a bit better about the election results:
