“Latter-day Saint Apostle Rededicates Frankfurt Germany Temple: Four-year renovation is complete”
There are some nice photographs of the temple (including its interior) at the link above, and a video that includes at least a few seconds of Elder and Sister Uchtdorf speaking in German. (I liked that.) There are also some good photographs, exterior and interior, here:

More photographs from the rededication are available on the Church website for Germany:

There will, fairly soon, be more temples in Utah County than there were in the entire state of Utah when I first came to Brigham Young University as a student:
“Ground Broken for Utah’s 18th Temple: Saratoga Springs temple is the fifth in Utah County”

I think that I posted links to two or three of these, but perhaps not to all. So, just to be sure, here they are:
“The Kinshasa DR Congo Temple: A Personal Perspective: Part 3: Happy Easter from the DR Congo!”
“The Kinshasa DR Congo Temple: A Personal Perspective: Part 5: A Tale of Two Sealings”

Now, though, for some items that aren’t related to Latter-day Saint temples:
First, here’s an interesting piece from the thoughtful Ben Spackman:
“Old Manuals, Unintended Consequences, and the Optimistic Turn of “Come Follow Me””
And here are a couple of pieces from Jeff Lindsay:
“Feeling Blue About the Red Sea in the Book of Mormon?”
And, finally, here’s a little commercial out of Alaska that happens to focus on something that I’m not sure I’ve ever encountered before: a shared Catholic/Latter-day Saint chapel:
“JELD-WEN Case Study: Our Lady of the Snows Chapel, Girdwood, Alaska”
Unfortunately — my apologies! — I can’t recall who brought it to my attention.
