Two examples of Muslims generously helping Christians

Two examples of Muslims generously helping Christians

A relatively uncrowded day at the entrance to Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre — in the belief of many Christians, built on the site of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ and, thus, the most sacred building in Christendom  (Wikimedia Commons)

As a relief from the relentless drumbeat of bad news from and about Muslims — much of it, without question, generated by evil people wrapping themselves and their evil acts in the mantle of Islam, but some of it unjust, unfair, distorted, misrepresented, and flatly unbalanced — I offer the following two stories of Muslims seeking to serve and to help Christians:

“Muslims in Bulgaria pull together to rebuild Christian church”

“King Abdullah II of Jordan funds Holy Sepulchre restoration work”

Thanks to Russell Spencer for bringing the second item to my attention.

May there be more such stories.  And stories of Christians helping Muslims.  And so on and so forth.

“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”  (Romans 12:21)
