Purple flowers at Temple Square — In support of the proposition that a certain antipathy exists currently between Mormons and flowers, I offer this: The Wikimedia Commons photograph above was taken at Temple Square in August 2005. If you were to visit Temple Square right now, though — just before Christmas, 2016 — you wouldn’t be able to find these flowers ANYWHERE. Does anybody out there seriously believe that to be a coincidence?
