Like many of you, I hope, I very much enjoyed Friday night’s commemoration of the 1978 revelation on priesthood.  I particularly liked the spoken parts, which were, in some cases, very moving — and, in one case, plainly quite emotional for one of those on stage.

Here are some items that I thought some of you might find of value in that connection:

Here’s something that might be rather controversial:

And here’s something that’s available via the website of the Interpreter Foundation:

The Church has recently created a brief “Now You Know” video on the subject of baptism for the dead:

“Baptism for the Dead”

I hope that it will be widely shared by Mormon bloggers and by Latter-day Saints with Facebook pages, and widely used in other ways, as well.

For some reason, I thought the other day of a piece by the late Merrill Bradshaw that I’ve long loved and that I’ve sung a couple of times, once in a ward choir and once, in a quartet, in Jerusalem.  It’s been going through my mind ever since:

“O Lord, I would hear thy word,” from The Restoration, by Merrill Bradshaw
