Well, here’s something you don’t see every day

At St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fremont, OH, the pastor discovered an old black pall in storage that nobody was using anymore. He found a new use for it : suspending it from the balcony during Lent.

Now, when people enter the church during this penitential season, the enter under a striking reminder of what is to come.
