Hinduism is the religion of the majority of people in India and Nepal. It also exists among significant populations outside of the sub continent and has over 900 million adherents worldwide. Unlike most other religions, Hinduism has no single founder, no single scripture, and no commonly agreed set of teachings.

Buddhism is a nontheistic tradition based on the teachings of Gautama Buddha. He is recognized by Buddhists as an awakened or enlightened teacher who shared his insights to help sentient being send their suffering through the elimination of ignorance and craving.

The Bahai’ Faith is a monotheistic religion which emphasizes the spiritual unity of all humankind. According to Bahá’í ‘s teachings, the human purpose is to learn to know and to love God through prayer, reflection and being of service to humanity.

Jainism is one of the oldest Indian religions. It prescribes a path of nonviolence towards all living things. Followers of Jainism take 5 major vows: nonviolence, not lying, not stealing, chastity, and non-attachment.

Sikhism is a panentheistic religion founded during the 15th century in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent by Guru Nanak. The central teaching in Sikhism is the belief in the concept of the oneness of God. Sikhism considers spiritual life and secular life to be intertwined.
