The Divine Wedgie
The Divine Wedgie is the blog of Dr. Matthew Tan. It seeks to serve readers interested in commentary, links and other resources on matters pertaining to the Church’s relationship with culture and politics.
The blog weaves orthodox Christian theology with political and cultural theory, and will draw upon schools of thought such as the Frankfurt School, postmodern theory and Radical Orthodoxy.
In so doing, the blog seeks to expose the unarticulated presumptions of the cultural institutions we live in. It also seeks to highlight the revolutionary capacities of the intellectual, liturgical and cultural treasures of a robustly orthodox Christianity.
Finally, in case you were wondering who the guy in the center of the logo is, that is the blog’s patron saint, St. Squidgy the Awkward. He does not belong here (Phil 3:20).
