Indian Engineer Murdered by Taliban

This is another of those incidents which make you realize that mad men are still roaming around free in this world… and that US despite its professed War on Terror has made hardly a dint on their ammunition!

Indian engineer killed byTaliban:

A Taliban spokesman said Sunday that they had killed an abducted Indian engineer in Kandahar as he tried to escape. Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Kabul said that a body had been found in Kandahar and is suspected to be that of K Suryanarayana. The Hyderabad-based engineer was abducted on Friday evening on the Kandahar-Kabul highway in Hassan Kareiz district of Zabul. Taliban militia on Saturday threatened to kill him if all Indians do not leave the country within 24 hours. A father of three, Suryanarayan had gone to Afghanistan four months ago and was working with a Bahrain-based company Al Moayad, which is engaged in a project for Afghan mobile phone service provider Roshan Telecom.<blockquote
