How many drops of water can fit on an American nickel? This is an exercise in a hotel training program for Choice Hotels to help the participants to think fast!

At a recent management-training session for Choice Hotels, trainer John Thompson had participants guess how many drops of water would fit on a nickel.

Most guessed five to seven. He then invited them to take an eyedropper and test their guesses. The managers found as many as 40 drops could fit on the nickel, defying expectations. The message? You can accomplish more than you think.
