Irfan Pathan at the Army Camp!

Irfan Pathan was at an Indian Army camp for fitness regimen… he seems to have been rejuvenated for the Sri Lanka team

”The good and the bad balance the equation. There is no reason why a lean patch should stay longer than necessary,” Pathan told this paper.

Pathan was among the first to arrive at the NCA and get involved in rigorous practice sessions. He was also the last to leave the camp on August 1, as the Team India took a four-day break till the cricket camp starting Sunday.

Having spent equal time with the ball and bat, Pathan says the key now is to get back into rhythm, something that was sorely missing during the ODI series against the West Indies and the lone Test he played there. ”I am looking forward to the Sri Lanka tour, hoping to get back into the rhythm fast,” he says.

Having shaved his head and feeling ”fresh and rejuvenated” once again, the 21-year-old says, ”There are newer challenges ahead and I will try and make the best use of them.”
