– Twisters, Murthy and Cricket

The head was throbbing as the cell phone alarm woke me up this morning I went over to look out of my windows – FOGGY! Hmm.. So its another of those days!

Breakfast was a modest cereal and fruits – I need to get a handle on my weight.

Meanwhile India lost the match to South Africa.. which was bit of a shock… since they had been doing well. The interesting thing about the Indians is that the seniors are not coming out with any contributions.. while the young guns have been left to fend for the team! After being 35 for 5 in around 11 overs… Yuvraj stuck it out and scored a century to take India to a respectable 249 in 50 overs. South Africa made it will Kallis coming through. Pathan got a beating this time!

Infosys has made a presentation that tells the Government on WHAT TO DO in governance for the Pune folks.. same goes for Bangalore!

These are the main points of the presentation:

– Complete revamp of municipal law
– Direct election of mayor
– Citizens’ formal participation
– Mandatory quarterly disclosure
– An integrated transport authority
– Housing and other programmes for the urban poor
– Creating a Regional planning structure with three levels — municipal, ward, and area. This should be part and parcel of comprehensive regional planning.

Arent those basic things that these idiotic and loser politicians should have been doing in any case!!!?

Btw, These are strange days weather wise.. last year we had snow in Houston… then the Tsunami… the Hurricanes.. and now the twisters. 35 twisters TOUCHED DOWN yesterday in US Midwest! In a season which is not even Twister-season officially!
