Its rare to read something positive on efforts of any Indian Govt. agency.. here is a story of a guy who went to India from Birmingham on an Air India flight with his ailing mother… and how this flight attendant lady named Shehzan helped him!
AWESOME story!
It was the flight attendants..in particular two of them. One a lady , young pretty looking , possibly a bit younger than me ,who was looking after our seats and was attentive as usual but extremely perceptive.She soon realised that my mother wasnt well and had some difficulties in getting up from her seat.Mum took some (read a lot )time to do it plus took a while to explain what she wanted when she stopped her. …as it turned out mom stopped her quite often during the entire flight almost everytime she passed by and more.I would try to preempt it and smile apologetically but this lady just smiled and listened and did and stopped each and every time Mom put out her hand.She waited for mum to communicate in her own time with no expression of exasperation. She would materialise out of nowhere and get a male attendant too when she realised Mum wanted to get up from her seat and I would need help.
I didnt press the call button even once.
