Continuous Love (al-wudd)
Our guide of the Shadhiliyya Sufi Order, Shaykh Muhammad al-Jamal,
wrote in his book, The Path to Allah, Most High:
“The lover of Allah
does not fear separation from Him
because how is He, Allah,
separated from anything
that is in His grasp?
And when He is nearer
than your jugular vein,
where is the separation?
There is nothing in creation,
except He.”
