Principles of Peacemaking in Sufism April 7, 2016

Mystic forest road with with red leaves on the ground.

It’s hard to deny that there are unseen factors that influence us 3-D human beings in this physical realm. But what are these unseen worlds, and do these invisible entities and energies affect our thoughts, emotions and relationships?

Better yet, can an understanding and awareness of these realms help us to resolve conflicts and bring peace to our lives?

Recently one of our faculty members, Nura Laird, was interviewed on Pieces of Peace radio show, KWMR radio in Marin, California, by Susan Santiago.

In this interview, Nura discusses 5 underpinnings of mystical Sufism and the 3 principles of peacemaking that make up the foundation of the teachings of Peacemaking that she and Dr. John Abd al-Qadr Davies teach at The University of Spiritual Healing & Sufism.

Nura further discusses the mystical dimensions of Sufism, including the eminence and transcendence of God, and the unseen worlds that affect us as human beings.

Nura also speaks of her passion for children and an education system that supports them to live into their fullness as divine human beings.

This interview is well worth the time to listen. We invite you to listen in, and if you feel so called, please share. Thank you!
