Recent European Journal of Theology

Recent European Journal of Theology May 14, 2019

One of my favourite journals to read is the European Journal of Theology, published in association with the Fellowship for Evangelical European Theologians (FEET).

One of the best things about the journal is that each article and review has a synopsis in English, German, and French, so it is a really good way to keep up your modern academic languages.

Make sure either you or your seminary subscribes!

In a recent trip to Panem (otherwise known as “Sydney, Australia”) I read several great articles on the flight:

Torsten Uhlig
Bridging Worlds or Fusing Horizons? A Review of Three Recent Collections of Essays on the Pentateuch

Christoph W. Stenschke
Ubergemeindliche Berbindungen im 1 Thessalonischerbrief

Ronald T. Michener
Reflections on Creation Care Through Critical Appropriation of Radical Orthodoxy

Pavel Cerny
The Church: Relic of the Past or Part of the Gospel Story?

Beate Schmid
Reflections on Identity, Ethnicity and the Rise of Populism in Austria: Implications for Reconciliation and the Multicultural Character of the Church

Benjamin Giffone
Technologising of Word and Sacrament: Deuteronomy 14:24-26 and Intermediation in Worship
